Who Is Pat Idoux
Hi I am Pat Idoux. I do internet marketing with a passion for teaching people how to connect with their dreams, make money, and live their fantastic dream life! I work from my home or where the laptop and wifi connection happens to be. This is not to say that I work everywhere I go. In this business you work where you what to work. Whether that’s on a beach, your favorite park after having lunch with a friend, your home office or your make shift office when you need to care for a sick family member, you’re able to work anywhere you want.
The Family and I
I am the youngest of five great siblings, two sisters and two brothers. The bothers and sisters in-laws and all nieces and nephews are fun too. We all have worked and played together threw out the years. I am very proud of that, especially in this day and age with so many families split up. I attribute that we all still can get together and enjoy it to the strength of our parents. Sadly we lost dad in 2001 from cancer but I still get words of wisdom from mom in her unique way. This is the family at dad’s funeral.
Growing Up
Growing up going to the pool in the back yard, the Lake of the Ozarks most weekends and when we were in Colorado, we were all over the back country with an uncle and his old jeep. Then back to Overland Park Kansas in 1980. Living for the family, not in their house, we all had our own within about 20 minutes of each other. I needed a change and threw a chance meeting on the internet I met a guy I would end up being with for the rest of my/our life. We ran in the almost the same circles but a few years apart and with little different connections within the circles. Talk about small worlds, the niece in the flowered dress bought a house my life partner use to hang out in when it was raining waiting at for the bus as a kid. Also my brother (one in center with tie) and Bryan went to the same scout camp in Missouri. Bryan’s parents and my parents also boated in the same cove at the Lake of the Ozarks so I am sure they wave at each other way back in the 60’s.
The Great Escape
So at the end of 1997, December 27, to be exact, we packed the Uhaul, hooked up the hand-me-down Boston Whaler (that I still have and love) and the Jet Ski, (not a hand me down) and moved to the Orlando, Florida. And we promptly went out on New Year’s Day to water ski and knee board. Today I am working with some of the best systems and people in the home based business industry. This community continually provides new entrepreneurs with cutting edge ways to build a seven figure empire online. It really does not matter what your back ground is in this community, I coach and mentor a rapidly growing team of home business owners/network marketers. They come from all walks of life and many countries throughout the world. With many starting points, from no business background, fired or laid off to MLM leaders changing companies to be this community. And this is what impresses me most, the amount of team work and how they all contribute to the “more better” life, work and happiness.
My Darkest Hour
Yes in my mission statement I say more better and I learned it in my recovery from the darkest time in my life. I was miss diagnosed bi-polar in 2000, turned out I had sleep apnea and my thyroid was off, not to mention I was in a new city, a new relationship and a new cleaning business. Luckily, through one of the MLM companies I had tried I found a personal growth company Klemmer & Associates. Never really believing I needed, let alone would really benefit from a personal growth seminar, I went with open mind and no real expectations. I left with tools and methods that I have used every day since. It is hard to put into words how the workshops have helped but keep in mind the amount of stress and turmoil that goes with a new relationship, moving to a new city, starting a business, losing a father, almost losing a mother in law, all the craziness that went with the miss diagnoses. All of this in a 5 year span. In the Personal Mastery workshop, my spouse and I were able to really deal with many issues. The misdiagnoses was the 8000 pound pink elephant that was always in the room, whatever room we were in. All the hurt and anguish of that we were able to deal with 80% of it in 20 minutes. Before that workshop we talked around the subject with explosive and un-delt with issues. This was just one aspect of the seminar. The gift of a lifetime that just keeps on giving, they have helped countless people find more better lives. So, no it is not correct English but it has worked for me. Now more better was not always the case for me.
Why I Sucked
I use to suck for a living. Yes I sucked for about 15 years. I was a carpet cleaner for a national company, then with my brothers company, then for myself. If he could do it I could do it. How hard could it be I thought? When I owned the carpet cleaning company, it was great I set the schedule and worked when I wanted. It allowed me to spend about a month and a half of quality time with dad the last few years of his life. But it was also me doing most of the work. So the cash flow also slowed. I also owned all, the phone calls, maintenance, advertising cost and at the end of the day I just owned a job. And that’s what sucked about it. If I was doing the internet marketing at that time I would of spent a lot more time with the family without it interrupting my business and cash flow. Time freedom is a huge part of internet marketing, you’re able to leverage your time and write your own paycheck.

My Jump Into Network Marketing
If you think about it most small business whether owner operator or even a doctor / dentist in there own practice is in the own a job category. The moment you stop working is the moment you stop making money. Just like a regular job, you stop work or get fired your cash flow dries up. And getting fired, laid off or just let go is very real for workers these days. And this is what really got me looking for a better way. I had seen the big MLM companies with the claims of big money and time freedom. All your friends and family will want to do it because you, your self are in it. Or buying crap leads that who knows where they came from or how many times they have been sold to different types of MLM companies. But I was new and did what the sponsor was telling me to do. I got frustrated and was knew the moving from company to company was not the way to build an online business.
Finding My “More Better” Life
One of the biggest reasons I chose the company and platform I ended up going with was A. there mission B. The core product C. the comp plan and D. the leadership and mentorship. I have a rock star for a sponsor and they are great I learn huge amounts from them but this is a dynamic business and with ten plus other mentors to learn from, they take a newbie or a power house and plug them into there skill level. It was for me. I got out of the cleaning business at the end of 2007. By 2009 I had regrouped and after a few odd jobs I had a job I truly liked. I was also working on the internet with internet marketing because I knew I was not cut out for a job. Then I was fired out of the blue. I was not completely freaked because I was working on my exit strategy. I was irked more than anything. But as with most things in life, the timing was crap. Being fired was very good for me in many ways. Ultimately it put me on the fast track to the “more better” life I was seeking for my self. It is also immensely satisfying to go back where I was fired from to have lunch with former co-workers knowing I make more money in a few hours then I did in a few weeks of 50 plus hours of work. And the ex-co-workers go back to work waiting for the end of the day while I do a little shopping and do my work while they fight the rush hour traffic. Needless to say life is more better by far.
